Hey guys so im loving the mission field.its been soooo much fun and ive loved working hard. My new companions name is Elder Calapp and hes from Virginia. my area is Cuilapa. its about 2 hours southeast of the City. We share the are with a set of sister and Elders and one of the Elder is Elder Marchant, he was one of my best friends in the mtc. The town is super cool. I love this mission and I love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The opportunity to serve Him 100 percent is such a blessing and theres nothing else id rather be doing. love you all

Week 4 December 11, 2019

This week was pretty simple and it flew by.

A new group of Elders came in and there a good time.

I have athlete's foot but its chill.

My new district was annoying and awkward at first but it's actually really chill now.

Im really loving the Mtc but im excited to leave.

I love the gospel.

I didnt take pictures this week so heres some more from the zoo.

Week 3 December 4, 2019

Hey guys im going to make this one really short and ill actually send pictures.

The high for the week was we got to go to the zoo today and actually get out of the mtc.

Also because of the way transfers line up with Christmas i only have 2 weeks left.

The low has been i got transfer to another district and im going to miss my old district.

Spiritual thought is dont really on your own knowledge. As me and my companion have practiced lesson in spanish we realized pretty fast how unprepared we are. However our teaching has improved fast because our reliance on the spirit has. As a missionary, I dont teach. Heavenly Father teaches through the Holy Ghost and my job is simply to invite the spirit into the lives of those who havent experienced it. I invite and encourage you all to seek the Holy Ghost in your lives today and to read and pray each day. I promise you there is a God, and that he is loving and that we are His children. I know He is ever so eager to help you and He wants the absolute best for you. And trust me, He knows whats best for you. En el nombre de Jesucristo, amen

Week 2 November 27, 2019

Hey guys week two is going great!!!! this week flew by. Im going to keep my emails brief for the most part. Just a highlight, down part, and spiritual thought.

Also sorry for being bad at responding. I only have an hour a week and my mom gets priority.

My highlight for this week has been my companion and my improvement. Me and my companion have become super close and bear our testimonies to each other all the time. Hes become one of my best friends in just the last two weeks. Also its been great to be able to bear my testimony all the time. it really is a faith building experience and I've loved every minute of it. Also my spanish is going well. I've already been teaching lessons and each one has improved.

The down part of the week was two missionaries in my district got sent home. Its really taken a hit on all of us. I'm glad they were able to do the right thing and confess but it wish they could have done it early, so they could be here. and that leads into my spiritual thought. Things we can do to prevent and overcome addictions to pornagraphy.

I might get pretty firey with you guys because I've become pretty passionate about this. In just the last week I saw pornagraphy ruin two of my friends lives. Or at least make things more difficult. As a missionary, my job is to call people unto repentance which is what i'm going to do.

Young men, young women, and anyone who is struggling with pornagraphy, Invite you to talk to your bishop. As a young man I am no stranger to repentance, and i can testify with every bone in my body that if you come unto God, talk to your bishop and seek Christ, your life will be a thousand times better. I promise you that you will find love and peace. It's embarrassing, i get it. I've been there and I don't doubt that it is. But I promise you a million times over that it is worth it. There is no shame in doing the right thing. There is no shame in coming unto God. I can promise you that your Father in Heaven, and your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, our on their knees, the creator of all things are on Their knees begging you to repent so that one day you can return to theme. I promise you, if you repent, your blessings in Heaven will be greater than anything you can imagine, I do.

As for parents, you need to talk to your kids about pornography. It is a necessity. The world we live in we cant put this off. In Utah, the "Holy Land," 4 out of 5 teenage boys and 3 out of 5 teenage girls are addicted to pornagraphy. I honestly believe it is the biggest problem in the world today. Parents, you have to take to your kids, boy or girl, 10 or 19, you have to talk to them and talk to them often. And NEVER, NEVER respond in anger or discipline. NEVER. If you do you put your child at risk of never repenting or asking for help. We need to respond in Love as the Savior would do. We need not to judge, we need not to chastise. We need to help. Im tired of this being put off. It is the most overlooked problem in the world and you cannot be happy if you are addicted to pornagraphy. I promise you that if you repent and ask for help, you WILL be happy. En el nombre de Jesucristo, amén.
